Finance systems · Support & optimisation
It works. Keeping it working is a different job.
A platform that works on cutover day and quietly degrades over the following year has not actually been delivered. This is the layer that stops that happening.
Ownership and change become fragile after go-live in a predictable way: the people who built the platform move on, releases accumulate without regression testing, and small workarounds harden into the way things are done. None of that shows up as a single dramatic failure. It shows up as a slow loss of trust in the numbers.
What follows sets out what planned, bounded support actually covers, and why it is scoped rather than sold as an open-ended retainer.
From £5,000. A structured review of what your platform actually needs, not a sales call.

Does the problem sound like yours?
Support needs rarely arrive as a clean ticket. They arrive as a growing sense that nobody quite trusts the platform the way they used to.
The person who built it has left
Institutional knowledge about why the platform is configured the way it is left with the person who configured it, and nobody wrote it down.
Releases go in untested
Vendor releases and internal changes are applied without a regression plan, so nobody finds out what broke until finance does, mid-close.
Workarounds have become the process
Manual adjustments that were meant to be temporary have quietly become how the close actually happens, every period.
Nobody owns administration
Security, hierarchy changes and routine maintenance fall to whoever has time, rather than to someone accountable for the platform's health.
What we do
Planned capacity, honestly bounded.
This is not an open-ended retainer. Scope and capacity are agreed up front, and reviewed rather than left to drift.
Health reviews
A structured look at configuration, security, integration health and known workarounds, so problems are found before they cause a bad close.
Issue investigation and reconciliation
Tracing a wrong number back to its actual cause, wherever in the chain it sits, rather than patching the symptom closest to finance.
Release testing
Vendor releases and configuration changes tested against a real regression plan before they reach production.
Administrator coaching
Building the finance team's own ability to run and change the platform, rather than making the practice a permanent dependency.
Still worrying about
Questions finance directors ask us.
Is this an open-ended support retainer?
No. Capacity and scope are agreed up front and reviewed on a set cadence, not renewed automatically. If the platform stabilises and needs less support, the arrangement changes with it.
Can you support a platform you did not implement?
Yes, and it is the majority of this work. A health review is usually the first engagement on a platform built by someone else, so we understand what we are taking on before committing to ongoing support.
Do you do administrator coaching instead of doing the work for us?
Both, depending on what the team needs. Where the goal is independence, coaching is built into the engagement from the start rather than treated as a separate add-on.
What does support cost?
Support pricing depends on scope and platform, and is confirmed in writing after a diagnostic or health review, before any commitment. We do not publish a generic monthly rate because the honest range is too wide to be useful without knowing your platform first.
Start with the diagnosis, not the platform.
A structured review of what your platform actually needs, and an honest view of the right level of support. From £5,000, and the output is yours whether or not you go further.
